Thomas Staton

6-6, 224

2G-PG-SF, US Passport.

A long 6'6" wing player who most recently led the league in Malta in scoring in 2015, and averaged just a shade under double-digits at NCAA1 UM-Kansas City his senior season.  Staton is a smooth shooting lefty who can stroke it out to 25 feet, yet he loves to use his size and strength to get to the rim. A great player in a system offense, as he's excellent moving
without the ball, yet he can create one-on-one with no problem at all. Staton has an extremely explosive first step which allows him to get my his man effectively. A very cerebral player who knows when to take it all the way to the hole, or stop and pop in the midrange, which he does very effectively. In transition, he does a great job of filling the lanes, and creating a nice target for his point guard to outlet to up the floor. Capable of guarding 4 positions which makes him very versatile on the defensive end of the floor.
