Player Snapshot:  Long, athletic, shot-blocking, PF-C combo.  Trained in the international style of play but, has added numerous "American" attributes to her game with 5 years of experience in the US system.  Deadly from outside the arc      ( 44% in 2014-15 season ), making her one of the best 3-point shooting threats on any team.  *Both parents have years of National Team experience in Czechoslovakia and the Slovak Republic.

2014-15 Season Highlights: Closed out her four-year career as the school leader in career blocks (238), single-game leader with 9 blocks vs. Colgate (2/15/13) and Longwood (2/26/12) and single season season leader with 83 blocks (2011-12). ... played in all 29 games averaging 7.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg. ... notched 12 double-digit contests with a career-high 19 pts at Wofford (1/2/05).

2011-12: Completed her freshman season setting numerous school records at NJIT. ...the 6-foot-4 freshman was 12th in the nation in blocks per game (2.8), with 83 blocked shots on the season. ... The 83 blocked shots is a NJIT season school record, which also made her the career leader for the Division I era (since 2006-07) with one season complete (since surpassed)  ... Prior to NJIT: As a senior at Life Center Academy in South Jersey, she posted strong numbers in 2010-11, including one that jumps out in particular—4.9 blocked shots per game. Maticka had a high of 12 blocks in one game (against Academy of the New Church from PA) and seven other games with at least five blocks. ...She also checked in with averages of 9.7 points, 6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists per game.
